YYC Food Trucks is at it again, friends and this time, cheese and gravy are on the menu! Showcasing some of the city’s most favourite mobile eateries, Poutine Palooza returns to the Grey Eagle for one day only! Don’t miss out – there’s nothing else like it in the city!

BRAVE CALGARY’S SCREAMFEST

Don’t miss your chance, YYC! Calgary’s largest event is back and as always, it’ll be powered by spooks, frights, freaks and fun! Wander through haunted houses, play games, check out their many vendors and grab a bite at one of the many food trucks. It’s going to be chilling!

SUIT UP FOR THE GRAND OPENING OF YYC’S NEWEST CLUB

This weekend, those looking to check out someplace darker, deeper, and a little more secretive than your local pub or favourite restaurant can finally check out Please Don’t Tell a brand new speakeasy and nightclub, where dressing up, feeling your oats, and treating yourself to a fancy drink is encouraged. PICK A PUMPKIN 

October is to pumpkins like Santa is to Christmas. It’s just not the same without ’em! This weekend, toss on your autumn best and wander the fields of orange under the sun. JOIN IN ON THE SQUID GAME

We’d ask if you’re a big fan of the show, but we already know the answer. Of course, you are, but how do you think you’d do? Until October the 31st, fans looking to try their hands (and feet) at the quick-steppin’ schoolyard game red light green light can do so with a twist at the NE Laser Tag Centre in Calgary. HIT HAUNTED CALGARY 

The thought of being in an underground parking garage after dark is more than enough to give anyone the heebie jeebies, so with that, we encourage you to check out Haunted Calgary – a terrifying-(ly safe) event held at the Horizon Mall in Balzac. This weekend walk through an ominous space full of surprises, but beware! You never know what might be lurking around the corner!

MILL THROUGH A FIELD OF SCREAMS

Celebrating another season of ‘spine-tingling’ fun, Cobb’s has also teamed up with the folks behind Screamfest to totally transform their 20 acres of land from family-friendly to fantastically freaky. Field of Screams is back. folks and from macabre-clad actors to gory decor, Calgarians who are looking to get into the spirit of things are encouraged to check out their 6 haunted houses, activities and petting zoo every weekend this month.

GET COZY UNDER THE ‘HARVEST LIGHTS’ AT THE CALGARY FARMYARD

Whimsy? Lights? Fall fun? We couldn’t ask for more! This weekend, instead of closing at their regular times, The Calgary Farmyard will actually stay open past 9 pm, giving you and your loved one more time to snuggle with their animals, get lost in their giant corn maze or challenge each other to a game of mini-golf in the colourful lights set up around the park. Don’t miss it!

JUST ROLL WITH IT AT YYCS MOST NOSTALGIC HALLOWEEN EVENT

This weekend live in the past but still enjoy being in the present at a spooktacular pop-up roller rink in celebration of the whole Halloween season. With two different skate times, one for family and the other for the “older” crowd, guests can rally their friends, parents, kids, or coworkers, lace up their blades, and enjoy music in every genre until after dark!
