Big projects often have even bigger updates and although this isn’t the update where we tell you that a project is nearing completion, we are excited to share that the new location of the Calgary Farmers’ Market is well on its way!

For those who have been on the edges of their seats waiting to see if the real thing would look as good as the photos, we say – trust the process!

This week, the market posted a couple of aerial photos to their Instagram page and things look to be really coming together.

Although there are still no trees, grass, or fairy lights in sight, the building now has a nearly completed structure, with exterior walls, a roof, and even a brick veneer. Fancy.

The Calgary Farmers’ Market second location will only be minutes from downtown, have over 50,000 square feet of space, and will have over 70 local vendors, which is huge. Now, unfortunately, due to a slight delay earlier this year, we will have to wait until 2022 to get in there and see it for ourselves, but it’ll fly by.

In the meantime, we can still visit the original location located at 510 77th Avenue SE, Calgary. It’s still just as impressive, they still support small businesses and you can still get a ton of your shopping done, which are all big wins in our books.

For more information on the new location or even more renderings of the space, you can check out their website here but we’ll keep you guy’s updated as new information rolls in.
