Looking for a bit of attitude with your next meal? Fans of the notoriously “rude and sassy” Karen’s Diner experience can officially check it out for themselves in Vancouver starting this weekend, for a limited time only.

Whether you want to break the ice on a first date or give someone in your life a quick scare or dash of humility, a meal at ‘Karen’s Diner’ promises to be unforgettable.

As the name suggests, the pop-up is run by a bunch of ‘Karens,’ who ensure guests “get served what they deserve,” which is apparently delicious diner eats and “very rude service.”

On the menu? Loaded fries and sweet treats, burgers, shakes, and themed cocktails – and of course, plenty of saucy remarks by the actors and actresses who will play up the ‘rude diner employee’ shtick.

The pop-up will set up shop at Zawa Restaurant on Commercial Drive from May 13th to May 21st, with tickets priced at $55. Note that each ticket purchased comes with one burger, one order of fries, and a soda. Children aged 16 and under are welcome until 5 pm.

Note that ‘Karen’s Diner’ does not accept walk-ins, and reservations must be booked online.

We’ll see you there, everyone! Don’t forget to bring a healthy appetite & sense of humour.
