While we might not completely agree with the picks, it’s always fun to see Tripadvisor’s annual list of the Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Canada. And, it’s even more fun when a few local names land on it! Here’s which BC restaurants got the nod this year.
Turns out, the Rimrock Cafe in Whistler landed at the top of the user-chosen list. The seafood-focused spot has been a top choice for fine dining in Whistler (which is already pretty bougie) for decades now, and has no signs of slowing down.

Vancouver’s Five Sails Restaurant was next on the list, coming in at the 5th spot. Offering stunning views of the water and located in the Pan Pacific Hotel, the restaurant delights both travellers and residents alike. So, it’s definitely deserving of its place.
Finally, the last BC spot to make the cut was Intermezzo, which is actually located in Vernon. Bringing things home in the 10th spot, this Mediterranean restaurant has been around since 1977, but changed ownership some 14 years ago. We’ll admit that we hadn’t heard of it before today, but now we’re curious.
