We hope you’re thirsty, Calgary because from Tuesday, June 1st to Tuesday, September 7th,  Calgarians will FINALLY be able to book out picnic tables and enjoy a European-style drink or two at various parks around the city as part of a new pilot program encouraging people to get out and stay safe during a long hot COVID summer. INDULGE IN GLOBAL CUISINE FROM HOME 

This year, GlobalFest is extending its reach well beyond its annual fireworks show! For 2021 they have turned their attention to the flavours of their annual OneWorld Festival by hosting a 10-episode live mini-series! Each installment will feature a different culture and the entire journey from the grocery store to plate!

Established in 1967, Nikka Yuko was “was built to recognize contributions made by citizens of Japanese ancestry to the multi-cultural community of Lethbridge,” and emulates the many authentic gardens overseas. This place by far one of the most beautiful spots in all of Alberta and this June, rescheduled from last month, it finally reopens for the season! Check it out, Calgary.
