You’re not ready for this one, YYC! Last week, Telus Spark Science Centre unveiled its first full-body virtual reality experience, and wow, is it something. For those looking for something different – we’d recommend Birdly – a dinosaur flight simulator that will take the rider to new heights during a time when the T-Rex was at the top of the food chain. Celebrating another season of spooks and scares, Cobb’s has also teamed up with the folks behind Screamfest to totally transform their 20 acres of land from family-friendly to fantastically freaky. Field of Screams is back. folks and from macabre-clad actors to gory decor, Calgarians who are looking to get into the spirit of things are encouraged to check out their 6 haunted houses, activities and petting zoo every weekend this month.

GET ‘HAUNTED’
Is there anything scarier than a parking garage after dark? This weekend walk through an ominous space full of surprises, but beware! You never know what might be lurking around the corner!

With comfort food season in full swing, the thought of penne is never far from our minds.
