Your blast from the past is officially here! Zellers is making a comeback across Canada and its first store is about to open in Toronto.

The Zellers at Scarborough Town Centre will welcome shoppers through its doors on March 23rd and Curiocity got a sneak peek of what to expect.

As with all of the newly-revived stores, the throwback shopping experience takes up a section of the existing Hudson’s Bay store.

The nostalgic shop sells a variety of items for affordable prices, including clothes, home goods, toys, as well as baby and pet accessories.

There will be 25 locations in total, occupying between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet of retail space at The Bay.

The locations will be opening in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

In addition to in-person stores, the chain will also be launching its e-commerce site, so you can do all of your shopping from home.

And it wouldn’t be a true Zellers revival without the return of its iconic restaurant, and Canadians from coast to coast will soon be able to give it a try.

The restaurant is actually a “diner on wheels” food truck and will be serving up classic Zellers eats like the Big Z Burger, Hot Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Cheese, Fires & Gravy, and Chicken Fingers.

Prices start at $3 for the Grilled Cheese and Fries & Gravy, and go up to $7 for Chicken Fingers.

The Big Z Burger and Hot Chicken Sandwich are priced at $6.

The food truck is currently making its way across Ontario and Alberta, and Canadians in other provinces can stay tuned for dates.

We hope that this is the start of a beautiful comeback story here in the north. It’ll be a true Canadian heritage moment!
