It’s happening nostalgia seekers! After dipping their toes in select locations across Canada, Zellers has announced that they will open a pop-up shop in every Hudson’s Bay from coast to coast and the timing couldn’t be better!
Hot off the success of 24 in-shop stores (with another on the way for Brampton, ON) and 22 pop-ups, the iconic company has confirmed that all 78 Hudson’s Bays cross country will offer customers a ‘Zellers experience” well ahead of the busy holiday season.

These popups will vary from 1,000 to 2,800 square feet depending on the location and will serve as “strategic market tests to determine future Zellers store locations.”
“We continue to see Canadians embrace Zellers, and are delighted by the experience of people discovering the amazing quality and style of the assortment we carry,” said Sophia Hwang-Judiesch, President of Hudson’s Bay.
“As I’ve said before, pop-ups are a key ingredient in our expansion strategy, allowing us to explore and test in new markets and fine-tune our offering before establishing larger format store locations. Our customers are in the driver’s seat – they will tell us how and where to grow.”
