Can’t wait for Zellers to finally open? Well, we got some news for you! The beloved Canadian chain has officially announced it will be opening its first locations in Ontario and Alberta later this month.
This is not a drill!
You can finally relive your childhood and step into one of the many Zellers pop-up locations within Hudson’s Bay, as early as March 23.

And in the first few days of it being opened, you can enjoy the Zellers Diner on Wheels which will visit different store locations across Ontario and Alberta.
The locations which are slated to open on March 23 include:
Ontario
- Erin Mills Town Centre – Mississauga
- Burlington Mall – Burlington
- White Oaks Mall – London
- Scarborough Town Centre – Scarborough
- Pen Centre Shopping Plaza – St. Catharines
- Cambridge Centre – Cambridge
- Rideau Centre – Ottawa
- St. Laurent Centre – Ottawa
- Cataraqui Town Centre – Kingston
Alberta
- Kingsway Garden Mall – Edmonton
- Medicine Hat Mall – Medicine Hat
- Sunridge Mall – Calgary
Customers can expect to see a ton of lifestyle options like kitchen and bath, accent furniture and home decor, organization and storage, baby and kids toys, apparel, pets, and more.
If you’re just as excited as we are and you’re living for this moment, also note that both the Zellers in-store experience and Zellers.ca are planned to launch at the same time. So if you can’t make it in person, you can definitely browse their selection online once its live. As to when that will come to blossom, we have yet to find out. We have a feeling it’ll be really soon!
Besides the Ontario and Alberta locations, there will be four Zellers locations in British Columbia, five in Quebec, one in Manitoba and two in Nova Scotia.
