You can attend a huge two-day caesar festival in Calgary this spring

Created by Walter Chell In 1969, Canada’s tastiest unofficial hangover remedy is deeply rooted in Cowtown’s history – so, it only makes sense that one of the largest caesar events be celebrated in Alberta!

This May, brunch-loving hot sauce fans can stick a straw in the 2023 YYCaesarfest, a massive Calgary event dedicated to the city’s signature drink.

Set to kick off on Saturday, the 20th, this two-day sampling event will feature over 40 different variations of the cocktail, local food, merch and beer or ciders for those who need a palate cleanser in between sips.

The best part? Not only will you have the best time drinking your way through the festival – you’ll play a huge part in the outcome! While it is going to be a delicious weekend, guests will have a job to fulfil – though it’s hardly hard work.

After everything is said and done attendees are encouraged to cast their vote for best in the show – a feat that the winning restaurant, bar or eatery can wear will pride until next year.

Interested? Tickets are on sale now – so get at ’em!

You won’t want to miss this one – especially if you’re a fan. Enjoy and maybe we’ll see you out there!
