Here’s where to watch FIFA World Cup 2022 in Edmonton

FIFA World Cup 2022 is upon us, and that means if you plan to cheer on your favourite country, you’ll need to know where you can watch! Edmonton is home to local sports bars that are sure to host game days so you can join others who are just as passionate as you are.

Though it may feel a little different this year since it’s not summer, you can still expect the same great excitement and vibe as you watch the games live! It is probably great idea to plan ahead if you hope to hit up your local sports bar, as they will get busy! So, here’s where you can catch FIFA World Cup games in Edmonton.

10 concerts to check out in Edmonton this December

1st RND

With over 75 beers to choose from, this sports bar is a far cry from the ‘pour me a lager’ standard. But of course, you can’t go wrong with the classics, and they’ve got drink specials for anyone looking to enjoy a whole pitcher with their pals. And of course, they’ll be showing the World Cup games, and will open 8 am/9 am depending on the game.

Where: 11248 104 Avenue NW and 8882 170 Street NW (in West Edmonton Mall)

Central Social Hall

For something a little more upscale, we’re pointing towards Central Social Hall. There are TVs to catch the game, of course, but the food menu here is a little more diverse than just a burger and fries… and breakfast! Central Social Hall will open at 9 am for games!

Where: 10909 Jasper Avenue

Sherlock Holmes Pub

Thanks to its many locations around the city (plus Duggan’s Boundary), Sherlock Holmes is a great option if you’re looking for something outside of downtown.Sherlock’s Downtown and Duggan’s Boundary are opening early for World Cup! Think 7:30 am!
