Here’s where to find Santa in Seattle this holiday season

Are you on the hunt for Santa? Saint Nick will be all around Seattle this holiday season at various different locations. Whether you’re looking to see him downtown, underwater or while grabbing your Christmas tree, there are all sorts of options. Here’s where to find Santa in Seattle this holiday season.

Nordstrom

Nordstrom’s iconic window front Santa will be available for pictures on a first come first serve waitlist system at the downtown flagship location. This year, there will be “diverse Santa days”, if you need additional information you are asked to call the Santa Hotline at (206) 628-1000.

When: Select days November 24-December 24th
Where: 500 Pine Street
Cost: $20+

Swanson’s Nursery

Swanson’s Nursery is one of Seattle’s favourite places to grab Christmas trees. You can also find Santa here and have your picture taken by Bonjour Photo. Appointments for photos can be made online.

When: Select days November 27th-December 22nd
Where: 9701 15th Ave NW
Cost: $54+

Wing Luke Museum

Santa is coming to the Wing Luke Museum! You can grab photos on December 9th and also check out a holiday market. Reservations for photos are currently sold out, however, walk ins are welcome.

When: Saturday, December 9th
Where: 719 South King Street
Cost: $12

Pike Place Market

Of course, Santa has to stop by Pike Place. The market is offering free Santa photos for one day only. It’s a great opportunity to partake in the classic holiday photo tradition while also doing some shopping from local vendors and growers.

When: Saturday, December 9th

University Village

The University Village Santa returns this holiday season with a month of photo taking opportunities.

When: November 24th-December 24th
Where: 2623 NE University Village St
Cost: $42+

Seattle Aquarium

Santa has many talents and while he may need his reindeer to fly, he himself can swim. Santa will be greeting visitors of the Seattle Aquarium from the Washington Waters habitat and you are encouraged to snap a selfie.

When: Select days November 24th-December 24th
Where: 1483 Alaskan Way, Pier 59
Cost: Children $27.95, Adults $38.95

Rainier Beach Community Center

This non-denominational holiday-themed event is free and open to Black families. There will be holiday food, fun, giveaways and of course, a chance to take photos with Black Santa.

When: Saturday, December 2nd
Where: 8825 Rainier Ave S
Cost: Free
