Ready for a break from the Top 40 this weekend? Then you might want to check out Festival du Bois, which is the largest Francophone festival in Western Canada! This long-running fest has taken place in BC for over 3 decades now, with new and exciting lineups each year.
Of course, that includes this year, too. Although it will be virtual, the Festival du Bois has a huge lineup of live concerts for children and adults alike. Our plan? That’s easy, we’re going to try and time a concert with a whole boatload of crepes one afternoon.

In addition to the concerts, there will also be some interviews with the artists. While that’s a little out of our depth, maybe mention it to your friend that took French in university or something. You know, as a fun little challenge.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure to check out this longstanding festival this year! Things kick off on Friday, and programming will be available until the end of the month. And, if you’re feeling crepes just as much as we are, maybe pair it with takeout from a new local French restaurant.
