Call us biased, but when it comes to dinner with a view – Vancouver is a strong contender. Mountains, ocean, forests, and West Coast spoils all await, and it looks like we’re not the only ones who think the city has some top-notch restaurant views.
As it turns out, two of the most scenic restaurants in Canada are right here in Vancouver, according to the vacation-planning website, HawaiianIslands.com. The global ranking is based on data from TripAdvisor and breaks down the restaurants with the most beautiful views per country and state/province.
Coming in at 8th and 10th on the list of Canadian restaurants with the most beautiful views are none other than Five Sails and Cactus Club English Bay.

Surrounded by sea and open sky, it’s no wonder that both of these spots made the list. Five Sails is situated in the Pan Pacific Hotel with sweeping views of the water and mountains – offering guests clear sight of North Van. Pair that with weekend high tea or a special occasion dinner, and you’ve set.
As for Cactus Club, English Bay is definitely one of their most popular locations, and for good reason. Unobstructed views of the beach plus some of the best happy hour deals in the city? That’s a no-brainer.
As for the restaurant that was named the most scenic in the world – that title goes to Mama’s Fish House on the Hawaiian island of Maui. So if you’re planning your next vacation, this one’s a great dining experience to add to the bucket list.
