The Vancouver Aquarium is introducing boozy adults-only nights & here’s what to expect

Fans of Science World After Dark are getting another exciting adults-only experience, this time, at the Vancouver Aquarium. If you’ve ever wanted to wander the marine life exhibits child-free and meet the thousands of animals that call the aquarium home, read on.

The new ‘Fish & Sips’ experience launches this June, inviting guests 19+ to discover over 65,000 rescued sea lions and otters, crabs, tropical fish, frogs, Amazonian sloths and gators, and much more.

All the while, guests can sip on delicious drinks and snack on small bites, while enjoying live entertainment in the background. The aquarium will serve a mix of beer, wine, and cider.

In addition to the aquarium’s current exhibits from the Tropics to the Treasures of the BC Coast, guests can check out a 4D Theatre experience. As well, there will be exclusive Talks and Feedings with unique animals featured at every event.

Note that future dates will be added this summer, but tickets are limited. So if you see a date that works for you, snag one sooner rather than later!

Tickets are available online for $55 each for guests, with discounts for members.

Right now, two Fish & Sips dates have been announced for June 17th and 24th. Doors open at 6:30 pm and drinks will be served from then until 9:15 pm – 15 minutes before the event’s end.

So there you have it, Vancouver! If meeting some marine friends with your human pals sounds like a blast, then look no further than this fun summertime social event.
