Love an in-store shopping experience? Brace yourselves, Calgary, because UNIQLO is gearing up to open its very first store in the city and it’s going to be BIG.

At over 15,000 square feet, UNIQLO at Chinook Centre will be the second Alberta location and will offer the brand’s one-of-a-kind guest experience, as well as a wide range of clothing for men, women and even kids.

Described as offering “simple, high-quality, everyday clothing, thoughtfully crafted with lives needs in mind,” UNIQLO recently announced that they would also be expanding into Ottawa – one of 20 others that they hope to open in by 2027 in North America.

“We are excited to open our first store in Calgary and expand our footprint in Alberta,” said Daisuke Tsukagoshi, CEO of UNIQLO, NA.

“Since opening our Edmonton store in 2019, it is clear that the Alberta customer resonates with the LifeWear message – that clothing is made for everyone every day.”

Additionally, this particular location will also offer its in-store pickup service to ensure customers still have access to their program which offers complimentary alterations, in which customers can get their pants (excluding athletic wear and sweatpants) hemmed for FREE, as long as they spend $20 or more.
