Have you ever wanted to be front row at fashion week? While this might not be exactly the same thing, it IS a fashion show, and it’s raising money for an incredibly good cause.

The Calgary Health Foundation and Mercedes Benz have partnered to bring us another year of the Calgary NICU Charity Fashion Show. Discover the latest trends from local and international designers in this dazzling runway show that will make you feel like a high flyer attending New York Fashion Week.

The show will take place at the largest Mercedes-Benz dealership in Canada, located right here in Calgary, Country Hills. There will be food, boozy beverages, live music, interactive displays, and a silent auction. It’s the fashion event of the season, and we haven’t even told you the best part.

Unlike New York Fashion Week, the Calgary NICU Charity Fashion Show is helping raise money for a local cause.

Preterm and critically ill babies born in Southern Alberta require the concerted efforts of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before they can go home to their families. Children born too sick, too early, or too small are immediately transferred to the specialized perinatal care team at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

While this team does amazing work, our healthcare system is feeling the strain of an ever-increasing number of little, vulnerable patients and their families. Hospitals require cutting-edge equipment so that they can continue doing their best for the province’s smallest patients.
