Our pets may not get their own pillowcase full of treats on Halloween, but this event is definitely a close second! A trick-or-treat and Halloween event for dogs in Toronto‘s Downsview Park is happening this Sunday, October 31st and all friendly pups are welcome.

The event is called Howl-o-ween Unleashed and it’s a chance for your dog to get in on all kinds of Halloween fun, including costumes, treats, and of course, off-leash playtime their pals!

The drop-in event takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. near the Downsview dog park. Stop by to show off your pup’s costume, get their photo taken and fill up on dog treats and accessories before hitting the off-leash area.

Your fur baby may even be featured on Downsview Park’s social media and you can enter a draw to win a prize. No registration is required, just show up and get ready to have a good time.

This isn’t the only event for dogs to check out this weekend. HalloWOOF will take place at Pingle’s Farm Market just outside of Oshawa on Saturday with tons of activities that your pup is sure to adore.

You and your dog will get to wander your way through an 8-acre corn maze, enjoy the autumn breeze on a wagon ride, pose for pics on the pumpkin patch, and dig into tasty goodies.

If your furry friend has more energy to burn, you can let them explore the farm-themed Playland while you sip on hot apple cider. There are also special activities for them to try, like a lure track and “duck race” with rubber ducks. This event does require pre-registration and you can see available time slots here.

Happy Howl-o-ween to you and your pawrtner in crime!
