Every Halloween, we grown-ups must suppress the urge to dress up and go door-to-door for candy. But, this year, we get to relive our trick-or-treating glory days with a Halloween scavenger hunt in Toronto.

After the success of their Easter egg treasure hunt last spring, The Grand Order of Divine Sweets will have yet another organized event this year where participants will solve a series of clues around the city and win a prize.

On October 29th, the bakery and cafe will send its “Haunters” to five separate locations around Toronto between the hours of 11 AM and 3 PM.

The location of the first Haunter will be revealed on the cafe’s social media on the day of the hunt.

Once you find the first Haunter, they’ll give you your official Trick-or-Treat Ticket, a special stamp, and the clue to the next location.

Be sure to collect your stamps and snap a selfie with every Haunter to prove your participation.

After you make your way to all five locations, scurry over to the bakeshop at 1162 Queen Street West for your hard-earned rewards.

Then comes the fun part! You’ll get a special cookie treat for completing the Haunt and get to draw from a spooky cauldron filled with tricks and treats.

There are prizes of all sorts, but there’s one in particular that’s especially grand — a chocolate smash pumpkin stuffed with $1,000 cash!

Feel like a kid again this spooky season and end your adventure on a sweet note. And who knows, you might walk away with riches!
