Who knew Toronto was hiding something so incredible? And delicious! TripAdvisor has released its 2022 Travellers’ Choice rankings, with the “best of the best” attractions, experiences, and activities around the world and it turns out that Toronto has one of the world’s best food tours.
In TripAdvisor’s worldwide ranking of food experiences for 2022, Toronto landed in 21st place for its international culinary tour in a very unexpected part of town — Kensington Market!
The tour, called Toronto’s Neighborhood International Food Tour, has been rated the “best of the best” and TripAdvisor users seem to agree. The experience has received over 240 five-star reviews.
Customers get to taste six international dishes throughout the 2.5-hour tour in Kensington Market, which is described as “the perfect place to experience Toronto’s diverse cuisine.”

“Not only will you experience a handpicked selection of the neighborhood’s best treats, you’ll skip the long lines that can form at popular destinations,” says the description.
Led by a local guide, this experience seems to check all of the boxes for authenticity, diversity, value, and of course, delicious taste.
“I think this is a great tour for people looking to learn more about Toronto, but it’s definitely not limited to just tourists,” reads one review.
Also included in the TripAdvisor ranking is Vancouver’s “A Wok Around Chinatown” food tour, which landed a few spots behind Toronto in 24th place.
