Here’s when Toronto’s iconic island amusement park opens for the season

It’s almost time to hit up Toronto’s iconic island amusement park! Centre Island’s beloved Centreville Amusement Park is opening for the season this May and here’s everything you need to know.

Start the countdown, Centreville Amusement Park will officially welcome back island visitors starting May 4th, 2024. In an email to Curiocity, the park confirmed the opening date, and highlighted that during this month, the park will be open for weekends.

Daily operations will begin on June 1st and will run through September 2nd.

If you have yet to explore the amusement park, you must this spring season. It’s only a ferry-ride away from downtown Toronto!

They have a number of rides and attractions for all to enjoy, from an antique carousel to a tea cup ride.

And if you find yourself hungry, there are a number of food outlets to enjoy.

The weekend schedule will begin once again in September and the final day of the season will be on September 29th, 2024.

Ferries for Centre Island leave the city from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, right at the foot of Bay Street at Queens Quay. Make sure to check out Ferry Schedules for seasonal departure times too.
