Looking for a little adventure this spring? Warsaw Caves are located in a Conservation Area less than two hours from the GTA.
Not only is this a perfect place for spring camping and fishing, but there is also a series of seven caves found in the park. The caves formed thousands of years ago at the end of the last ice age!
A day-use vehicle permit costs $19.50 with opening day on May 10th, 2024.

This one is for nature and bird lovers.
Located within Presqu’ile Provincial Park is Gull Island, known as the site of the most diverse water bird colony on the Great Lakes, with seven species of colonial water birds calling this place home in the spring.
The park opens on April 26th, and you can grab a day pass permit here.

If you’re heading to Northern Ontario, this hidden gem is a must.
The Agawa Rock Pictographs can be found in Lake Superior Provincial Park.
There are 35 red ochre images visible here and it’s one of the few pictograph sites in Ontario accessible by foot!
You can stop by this spring as the area opens in mid-May.

Old Woman Bay has a sand and pebble beach and access to the Nokomis Hiking Trail.
You’ll need a day pass so make sure to grab one ahead of time.

Peche Island is a cute spot you can get to if you’re in the Windsor area.
The island lies 330 metres off the Detroit River shoreline at the eastern edge of Windsor and features:

This waterfall is easy to get to and a great place to spend a spring day.
The Decew Falls are on the outskirts of St. Catherine and boast 72 feet of water you can walk behind if you can make the climb into the gorge!
