The highly-anticipated new Pixar movie with Canadian roots is finally coming to a screen near you! Disney has announced that Turning Red will premiere directly on Disney+ this March.
Not only does the animated film take place in Toronto, but it is also directed by the Academy Award-winning director and Seneca College grad Domee Shi and is voiced by several Canadian actors, including Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Sandra Oh, and Sasha Roiz.
If you’re unfamiliar with the film’s premise, it follows a 13-year-old student named Mei Lee who has a unique ability to turn into a giant red panda bear when she gets too excited. Talk about a conundrum!
