These were the top movies & TV shows on your favourite Streaming platform this year

If not for Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, we probably would have lost our marbles this year, but alas – we made it through! From dramas and horror flicks to rom-coms and true crime – we exhausted almost every streaming platform, but what TV shows and movies were at the top of Canada’s list in 2022?

Thanks to Flix Patrol, a website that provides VOD charts and streaming ratings worldwide – you can now head to New Year’s parties locked and loaded with a wealth of information – mainly that Encanto was, in fact, movie of the year.

Shocked and appalled that it wasn’t something else? Maybe your favourite came close!

Below are the top 10 movies and TV shows on every platform as of December 22nd, 2022, according to FP.

Each title has been given a score based on a point system which awards 10 points to the project which reached #1 in Canada, 9 points to those in the #2 spot, 8 points for #3 spots and so on and so forth.

It’s important to note, however, that scores are tallied daily and may change by December 31st – though not enough to change their current standings for the entire year.
