There’s a new late-night lounge in Toronto & it’s only open twice a week

Toronto’s bar and restaurant scene keeps on growing! There’s a new lounge on King Street that transitions from a private event space to a late-night cocktail hub.

Deer Lady is the newest venture by the Parlour Restaurant Group, located on the second floor of The Parlour Restaurant on 642 King Street W. The space resembles that of an artistic loft where you can hang out, grab a bite or two and sip on stunning cocktails.

“Deer Lady blurs the boundaries between art, community and dining. An experience typical to our Parlour Restaurant patrons but perhaps more ceremonious and elevated,” said Co-Owner and Designer Chris Holland.

Think warm, inviting, and a touch of contemporary sophistication. The space is decorated in accents of copper and metal similar to champagne bubbles. Deer Lady seats 155 people with 16 tables and 20 seats at the bar.

As you take in the ambience and admire the space, take a look at its carefully curated menu, overseen by Executive Chef Ejner Christiansen. The menu offers a number of premium eats including a jaw-dropping Caviar Tower for $289. It features Northern Divine Fraser Valley sturgeon caviar, premium oysters, lobster, ahi tuna lettuce cups, sockeye salmon tartare & jumbo prawns and “those ballz” baked pizza dough knots tossed in garlic & butter.

Make sure to try its mouthwatering Mini Lobster Rolls and the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Pizzette. We’re already getting hungry.

Now that you have some food options settled, make sure you check out the cocktail selection

Notable cocktail mentions include Suck My Kiss which is composed of patron reposado tequila, curacao, lemon juice, demerara, pineapple and garnished with a red hot chilli pepper; Smooth Criminal features gekkeikan saké, elderflower, coconut cream, lime, pineapple and rose water; The Sure Shot which includes Angels Envy Bourbon, lemon, honey, ginger and lavender is a surefire way to heat things up.

Already hooked? Deer Lady is hosting its Grand Opening this weekend, November 25 and 26. It is available for private bookings seven days a week and open to the public for two seatings on Friday and Saturday – Food Service: 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Table Service: 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
