This wildly popular Filipino food truck is finally opening an official location

For a couple of years now, the Filipino-cuisine-focused food truck Shameless Buns has been delighting Vancouver with its delicious creations. And starting next week, you’ll be able to enjoy it at a brick-and-mortar location! Here’s what you should know.

Shameless Buns has more or less been on a nonstop tour in an old converted Jeepney since it started. Dishing up Filipino-inspired street food like spam and egg sandwiches or a jackfruit and coconut adobo. Well, you can expect all the staples from the food truck here and more.

Because in addition to that entire menu, they’ve got a couple of new items they want to try out. The main attractions? A new embutido (Filipino meatloaf) sandwich and a variation on elote called the Corny Pinoy. Plus, there’s going to be a whole selection of ‘ice candy’, which is basically a Filipino version of a popsicle.

All we can say is we can’t wait to try it out! Things kick off on Saturday next week, so keep this new spot in mind!
