Sometimes, we stumble across an Airbnb that leaves us with a real problem. Most of the time, there’s a clear winner between the home and its surrounding area. This Tofino Airbnb has tossed that out the window, by offering a gorgeous space ‘just steps’ away from Chesterman Beach.

Called ‘The Peaks’, the Airbnb is a newly built ‘surf getaway’ that can accommodate up to 6 people at a time. The 3 bedroom home also comes with 2.5 bathrooms, which means no real issues when it comes to who’s brushing their teeth and when.

Done simply but with quality in mind, The Peaks features an open floorplan that emphasizes natural light. From the massive 9-foot sliding doors to light wooden fixtures and furniture, this home will seem sunny even on the cloudiest of days. And trust us here- Tofino is no stranger to a couple of clouds. Luckily, those concrete floors are heated, just in case.

The Peaks isn’t just about form, though. Inside you’ll find a large, open concept kitchen and dining table for whatever you’re cooking up that night, alongside a 4K TV just in case things get a little too rainy one day. Staying in the main bedroom? You can look forward to a spa-like ensuite, complete with both a soaker tub and an open shower.

If you’re actually going surfing during your stay, things are about to get even better for you. You’ll be happy to know you can rinse off in an outdoor shower before stepping inside (and bringing sand into the mix). Then, when you’re ready to warm up, slip into the hot tub and unwind a little bit.
