This Seattle waterfront restaurant has a floating dining area and urban market

We all love good waterfront dining but what about dining on the water? If you’ve ever wanted to have a floating dining experience it turns out that you can actually do that at Dock & Drink. This local spot is pretty much the ultimate summer dining destination.

Dock & Drink is part of Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport. It’s a boardwalk-style set up with a floating dock to enjoy meals and drinks on. You can enjoy multiple menus with items ranging from sandwiches to tacos and more. When it comes to drinks you can enjoy cocktails, brews, and spirits. Oh, and they have live music every once in a while too.

It’s a great place to reset by the water or wind down after a long work week. But what we find extra cool about Dock & Drink is that they are also the location of the Renton Urban Market which happens every Saturday & Sunday. That being said, this market is only happening until the end of June meaning the 26th and 27th are the last days for you to check it out. If you didn’t have weekend plans, now you do.

Considering how hot it will be this weekend we think a trip to Renton is in order. After all, you can head to a nearby beach or swim spot before and make a whole day out of it.
