This new pop-up is serving up delicious NYC-inspired Italian eats

Maybe it’s ‘cause we’re (unapologetically) obsessed with all things pasta but ever since we heard about the new Connie & John’s Italian pop-up takeover of the iconic CHARCUT restaurant, we haven’t stopped droolin’.

While they’ll be serving up some of the delicious NYC Italian staples you’d expect, they’re doing it with a slight twist. Connie & John’s Italian is paying homage to the iconic red-sauce joints of New York, and you can expect the menu to be filled with their favourite Italian-American dishes. We’re talkin’ giant meatballs, big plates of freshly baked pasta, and of course… some damn good red sauce.

Unlike taking a trip to NYC to get some delicious pasta… Connie & John’s Italian won’t break the bank. With appetizers and salads ranging from $6.99 to $15.99, and pasta dishes for $19.99… you’ll likely be going back for seconds (and probably thirds and fourths).

Of course, no good meal is fully complete without a good drink to go with it. And Connie & John’s Italian is no exception. Grab a cocktail, a crisp refreshing Connie and John’s Lager (courtesy of Trolley 5), or of course, wine by the bottle! Feelin’ extra fancy? They’ll be opening up their wine cellar to guests for the first time ever – with one catch. They get to pick for you!

If history has taught us anything, it’s that Chefs Connie Desousa and John Jackson never fail to serve up some freakin’ delicious food. Between CHARCUT, Charbar, Alley Burger, Connie & John’s Pizza, Rooftop Bar @ Simmons, and recently reopened CHIX Eggshop… we mean, some REALLY good food. So when we say we’re gonna be fillin’ our stomachs to the brim with this pasta… we mean it.

Ready to fall in love with the history, vibe, and food at Connie & John’s Italian? Hit up their online menu for curbside pickup, or order on the apps!
