This beloved Thai spot in Vancouver opens a new location next week

After a few years of delighting diners on Commercial Drive, the delicious Thai restaurant Kin Kao is getting ready to open its second location in Vancouver! This time around, they’re heading into the heart of Mount Pleasant. Let’s check it out!

The new Kin Kao Song will feature the same sleek yet inviting look as the OG location, with lots of natural light and bright, minimalist interior design. It’s the perfect complement to the focus of the menu, which offers Thai cuisine favourites with some modern twists for good measure.

And speaking of the menu, you can expect a mix of vegan and meat-based dishes, ranging from Lemongrass Chicken Wings to a classic bowl of Tom Yum soup. Alongside the food menu, you’ll find a variety of natural wines, local brews, and new for this location- signature cocktails.

To us, that sounds like the perfect way to deal with some rainy day blues. And luckily, we don’t have to wait too long to check it out, as this spot opens Thursday next week! Keep it in mind if you’re looking to try a new option in the city.
