Ready to experience some stunning light displays? You’ll be happy to know that the ever-popular Lumiere is set to return to Vancouver next month! Now in its sixth year, the experience has also expanded to even more locations, and with more installations. It’s a double-whammy for 2021.

Starting on November 12th, curious folks can head to 4 different areas to check out some stunning light-focused installations. In addition to English Bay and Jim Deva Plaza, Lumiere is expanding to Granville Island and the Bentall Centre as well.

Of course, new locations also mean new installations to enjoy. This year, you can enjoy everything from a 25-foot sunflower to voice-activated canopy lights to a 12-foot-tall beaver. Yeah, it’s a real mixed bag, and we’re going to love every second of it.

If you find yourself downtown this November, make sure to keep this amazing event in mind! Lumiere will be mostly ending on November 30th, but some of the major installations will be up until February. Don’t wait until then though, and see these fun light displays in all their glory!
