Canadian pop/rock singer-songwriter Hannah Georgas is based right here in Vancouver, and she’ll be performing on her home turf on December 7th. Nominated for multiple JUNO awards over the years, Georgas is known for her songs like “Don’t Go,” “Lost Cause,” and “Evelyn.”

PNE Winter Fair

The annual PNE Winter Fair is back with 12 nights of Christmas-themed concerts and theatrical shows, indoor skating, and winter light displays. And of course, enough mini donuts and holiday treats to go around!

Back to the Holidays – The Improv Centre

The Improv Centre on Granville Island always has something fun going on, and this week is no exception. Their Back to the Holidays (think if A Christmas Carol and Back to the Future had a baby…) improv show is on from now until December 24th, so it’s the perfect time to get a jumpstart on all things festive.

Vancouver Christmas Market

Of course, a trip to the Vancouver Christmas Market never hurts. Jack Poole Plaza has now transformed into the ultimate winter wonderland, complete with mulled wine, freshly made pretzels, and bratwurst – all thanks to this year’s Vancouver Christmas Market.

Heritage Christmas at Burnaby Village Museum

In addition to the holiday light displays mapped throughout the City of Burnaby, Burnaby Village Museum is offering free admission to their annual Heritage Christmas fest, which includes 10 acres of decorated museum grounds to explore.

Plus, on Saturday, December 2nd, you can celebrate the official launch of Heritage Christmas with a special tree lighting at 6 pm.

Lights by the Lake – Harrison Hot Springs

Every year, Lights by the Lake transforms 2 km of waterfront at Harrison Lake into an illuminated wonderland. And this week is a great time to check it out before the giant holiday craze.

Go skiing/snowboarding
