Can you believe it’s April?! The year certainly feels like it is flying by, but we are excited for spring. There is a lot happening in Seattle this month, between sports, festivals, and live performances. So get out that social calendar, and add these things to do in and around Seattle this April.

Tulip Town

This year, Tulip Town will be open until April 30th. For the whole month, you can walk through rows of tulips, and soak in a sea of color.

There are old-school trolley rides through the tulips, as long as weather is permitting, and dogs on leashes are free.

While there, you can also shop at Tulip Town’s retail boutique, which has artisan wares, goods, and gift from Skagit Acres.

Seattle Mariners

And just like that, it is baseball season! The MLB is back and the Mariners kick off their home games this year against the Red Sox. They also are at home for several games including ones against the Cubs and the Braves. Be sure to check out all the new food while there!

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Washington’s most iconic tulip festival is back this April with unique displays taking place at four different farms across the Skagit Valley.

Sleater-Kinney

Olympia, Washington’s Sleater-Kinney formed back in 1994. Their latest, Little Rope, was released this year and they’ve been on the road since March. They will be in Seattle for two dates in April.

Volunteer Park Conservatory

Discover Pass Free Days

Washington State Parks typically has several “free days” each year, and 2024 is no exception. On these select days, visitors can access state parks without requiring a Discover Pass, which is usually required for vehicle access to state recreation lands. This allows visitors to explore the natural beauty of the parks at no cost! One of those days is in April, celebrating Earth Day.
