BRUCE COCKBURN

Spend an evening with one of Canada’s finest artists, Bruce Cockburn! His musical journey has seen him embrace folk, jazz, rock, and worldbeat styles, and you can hear it all this week.

KID KOALA

FEED THE SOUL DINING WEEK

Check out the first ever Feed The Soul Dining Week, a city-wide event hosting 15+ restaurants, retail, home-based and online stores participating across Edmonton. Their goal is to “display the city’s diverse Black-owned food scene and, present to Edmontonians, the positive influence the African Diaspora has on the culinary industry of the city.”

THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF WINTER CINEMA

Get ready to watch “the best winter films from around the world, on one huge snow screen, in a truly unique location.” The International Festival of Winter Cinema (IFWC) was founded in 2017 in Edmonton, and it is the world’s only completely free outdoor winter film festival!

GO SKATING

The ice rinks are calling, and we must go! From small and lesser-known spots to some of the most popular skating areas around, Edmonton is full of incredible options, and we’re going to make the most of them every chance we get!

SILVER SKATE FESTIVAL

Edmonton’s longest running winter festival! Check out snow sculptures, learn something new at the heritage village, or the winter markets! Lots will be going down during the 10 day, family friendly festival.

WINSPEAR OVERTURE TOUR

Did you know you could do a tour of the Winspear? Winspear Overture Tours are a one-hour building and backstage tour and information session. Learn about the history of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Winspear Centre, as well as their vision for the future!

CANADIAN BIRKIE SKI FESTIVAL

Get outdoors, get active and embrace winter! The Birkebeiner Ski Festival is for cross country skiers, sure, but it has a very fun twist, as the most devoted of the events is a 55km long marathon with a 5.5kg weight strapped to your back.
