Mean Girls the Musical

Ice Grooves

Swing by City Hall Plaza Ice Grooves this weekend to dance and skate with live DJs all evening long. This Friday, DJ Chu The Producer will be spinning beats on the ice, and on Saturday, DJ Diamond.

No skates? No problem! You can enjoy free skate rentals thanks to the Edmonton Art Council.

Markus Schulz

Old Strathcona Farmers Market

This YEG staple is celebrating its 40th year as the home to Edmonton’s original indoor farmers market. From organic produce and pastries to artisan tables filled with pottery, woodwork and jewelry — you can fill your basket and your Saturday wandering through the market’s busy stalls.

The Wedding Fair 

Planning a wedding? The Wedding Fair offers a curated and full assortment of the best wedding professionals to fit all styles and budgets. “It’s like real-life Pinterest,” state the organizers.

Elk Island National Park

Elk Island National Park is a wonderland any time of year. Enjoy some hiking and exploring during the day, then kick back for some stargazing afterwards before you head home.

Go Snowshoeing

If you want to make the most of your time at Elk Island National Park, you can do your exploring with a pair of snowshoes! If you don’t have your own you can checkout one of the city’s local rental spots to borrow a pair for the day.

Tubing at the Edmonton Ski Club

Have you tried tubing at the Edmonton Ski Club?

Well, it is the least expensive option in the city, and this spot offers some classic, family-friendly fun and of course, more than earns the price of admission with a magic carpet to get you up the hill.

Go Skating

Go Karting

Want to fuel an adrenaline rush without the winter chill? Head to the Drive to put your drifting skills to the test around their New-York streetscape themed race track. We hear there’s a high score to beat!
