Folks, rent in Vancouver is always interesting news. And a new report by liv.rent, a  has shown us some more interesting news about the average rent in the city.

The report takes a look at all of the major neighbourhoods in the city and breaks down the average rent for 1, 2, and 3 bedroom places. And before we give you the goods, just know this is all for an unfurnished place.

The most expensive neighbourhood to currently rent in is Downtown Vancouver, which isn’t too much of a surprise. According to the report, the average rent here for a 1 bedroom apartment is $2,126 a month. So, that’s a lot of clams, to say the least. And number two on the list is similarly unsurprising, as Kitsilano has an average rent for a 1 bedroom running you $1,834.

An interesting list! And, the biggest dark horse is Shaugnessy, with no data for 1 bedroom apartments. But, based on our own experience along with the high price of Shaughnessy’s 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, we have a feeling it might be a bit higher on the list.

If you want to check out the whole rundown, you can go to the liv.rent website and read the report.
