Generally speaking, two things stand between us and our summer fitness goals- 1) Our intimidation from intense workouts and 2) Our boredom from the same dry drill every day. But Toronto-born Raise the Barre is helping us break free from our typical grind with their ‘Get Ready for Summer’ fitness challenge.

The 30-day fitness challenge has all the brand signatures- fun, non-repetitive workouts, a mix of low impact and high-intensity exercises, variations for all fitness levels and an entertaining session. And it does so without digging a hole in your wallet.

For just $57.52 + tax, you can get access to unlimited at-home workouts for 30 days with new classes being released every week. Plus, you can tap into their on-demand library where you’ll find over 200 workout videos.

For those not in the know, Raise the Barre, is a Toronto based fitness business offering in-person and online classes. It was started by Sarah and Stass (more about them later) during the pandemic to give people a fun at-home workout routine. And the reason they are fast gaining popularity is because they make working out doable and entertaining at once.

The classes are a blend of cardio, strength, intervals, barre, sculpting, pilates, HIIT and stretching. Unlike most high-intensity workouts though, their version is designed for all ages and all levels of fitness. In addition to the high-intensity routine, they also provide low-impact options and variations so everyone can keep up. And they promise they won’t make you do the same damn set every week. Meaning, you won’t get sick of it.

The best part is that you can decide how long you want the session to be. They have classes for 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes. So, you can pick a class based on your stamina and schej.

Plus, the workout requires nothing to bare minimum when it comes to equipment.

As for Sarah and Stass, when they’re not working out with us, the two are killing it at their full-time corporate jobs. Sarah, with an electrical engineering degree, works at TELUS on a Cybersecurity DevOps team. Stass, meanwhile, has a business degree, has been working towards her CPA at Ernst & Young, and will be starting her next job in Wealth Management in the fall. Despite their super busy schedules, the two have continued to follow their passion for fitness.

While the ladies have been teaching fitness classes for many years now, it wasn’t until COVID hit that they started their own online fitness platform. Now, here’s the thing- you’re less likely to share their level of love for fitness (not your fault; it’s just hard to match). But that won’t stop you from feeling pumped and motivated by their highly infectious energy.

Their energy coupled with killer upbeat music will keep you going all through their ‘Get Ready for Summer’ challenge. All you have to do is sign-up. And you can do that right here!
