The Soul of Seattle returns this month with 4 different tasty events to check out

At this point, you’re probably aware that February is Black History Month and that means there are tons of amazing events happening. But one of the best is the Soul of Seattle event which is happening for the second year in a row. So not only is this a great way to try new food but it’s an excellent way to support local Black culinarians.

Throughout February Soul of Seattle will put on 4 different events. They range from cooking demos to dance parties and if we could, we would attend every single one. The first event kicks off tomorrow and features a live cooking demo from Dre Neely and Sabrina Tinsley. Plus if you’re really feeling it you can even snag a 3-course meal from either Gravy or La Spiga.

And if you can’t make it to tomorrow’s event that’s no problem because there are events also happening on February 12th,19th, and 26th. In the next events, you can expect to see Edouardo Jordan, Kristi Brown, and even Questlove. So clearly these are not ones you want to miss!

If you’d like to learn more about Soul of Seattle or snag tickets you can click here. As always if you check out one of the events, let us know what you think. We’ll probably be checking out at least one of these events. Have a great weekend Seattle!
