The newly restored Park Hyatt Toronto is returning this fall with a reimagined rooftop bar

The past year has been full of all sorts of closings and reopenings.  And now Park Hyatt Toronto is reopening with a brand spanking new restoration. Not to mention, the iconic rooftop bar will also be returning with a new name and identity after 4 years! There’s a lot to look forward to so let’s get into the deets.

We’ll start with the rooftop bar, the Writers Room. The bar’s new name is all about celebrating the literary legends that spent time in Park Hyatt Toronto. As you probably remember it’s one of the best places in the city to have a drink and take in some stunning views so we’re pumped that it’s returning. Plus a new food concept for the hotel will be released in the coming weeks.

Other things to be excited about include the fact that the entire building was restored. Yep, Park Hyatt is truly on a level of its own when it comes to sophisticated heritage luxury. And on that note, the South Tower has been reimagined with 65 luxury rental apartments. We don’t know about you guys but we’re definitely going to want to take a peek inside one of those. Additionally, the South Tower will be home to 20,000 square feet of retail spread over two floors.

Of course, there will also be a spa and wellness center to welcome those looking to relax. Guests will be able to enjoy a whole menu of personalized treatments and relaxation services. Getting excited yet?

Perhaps one of our favorite things about the new Park Hyatt Toronto is its emphasis on art. The hotel will have an impressive permanent art collection with pieces from renowned Canadian and Indigenous artists. And the whole design palette of the freshly imagined hotel is influenced by the Group of Seven. Doesn’t get much more Canadian than that does it?

If you’re as excited about the new and improved hotel as we are, you’ll be happy to know that you can check it out as soon as September 15th for its officially reopening. Until then you can learn more by clicking here.
