Broadway Across Canada has announced that the on-stage adaption of the classic film will be rolling into Calgary and you are not going to want to hesitate to get tickets.
Seen by over 112 million people in the 25 years since its debut, The Lion King has won 6 Tony Awards and has been translated into 9 different languages.
Not only does it feature Elton John and Tim Rice’s songs from the animated film, but it will also introduce first-time audience members to additional music by Lebo M, Mark Mancina, Jay Rifkin, Julie Taymor and Hans Zimmer.
