If you’re a fan of traditional holiday festivities, there’s nothing better than seeing The Nutcracker live with your loved ones. And this year, Calgarians can experience a new level of holiday magic through an immersive show of the classic tale. If you’re looking for a great way to introduce someone to the art of ballet, this is it.
From the producers of Immersive Van Goh comes The Immersive Nutcracker: A Winter Miracle – which will surely have viewers on the edge of their seats as sugar plum fairies dance around them and the battle with the Mouse King unfolds.
Presented by Paquin Entertainment Grop and Stampede Park District, the show will surround the audience in 360 degrees, creating an experiential retelling of Marie’s Christmas Eve journey in “five fantasy-filled worlds.”
Animated characters will perform alongside video footage (over 1M frames) of professional ballet dancers, which will be projected over 500k cubic feet, creating the ultimate immersive display.
