Well folks another Washington classic is taking a step back for a while. This time we’re talking about the iconic Olympia Beer which had made the decision to cease production. And as you’ve probably guessed, this comes after the pandemic has created a drop in sales.

But this is a pretty big deal as Olympia Beer was founded over 120 years ago. So that means they’ve been through a lot as a company. Including being bought by Pabst which may actually be a blessing in disguise. After all, Pabst will make the call if and when they are able to go back into production.

So we’ll keep our fingers crossed that they can find a way to come back. After all, they’ve already made it through the experience of leaving their original facilities in Tumwater. And on that note, there are actually plans to remodel the brewhouse and reopen it to the public. So we think Olympia Beer can find a way to stay in the future.
