Well, folks, it’s a sad day for Dog River, Saskatchewan. Catch our drift? We’re talking about the fictional town from one of Canada’s most popular comedy sitcoms, Corner Gas. Unfortunately, the show’s landmark grain elevator burnt down in a fire early this morning.
The grain elevator was located in the town of Rouleau, Saskatchewan, and the fire started around 2 am. Fire crews from surrounding areas responded to the scene but sadly the elevator was lost. Before its untimely demise, it was a popular tourist spot for fans of the show.
