Cocktail lovers, hotel guests, and travellers of all kinds are in for a treat. The team behind the Keefer Bar is opening a new destination for upscale drinks and live entertainment called The Herrick Cocktail Club.
The bar’s name pays homage to a veteran Hotel Georgia employee, Fred Herrick, who was the hotel’s shoeshiner for 54 years. Known for his friendly service and banter with each and every one of his customers, Fred’s legacy will live on through delicious cocktails and unparalleled service at The Herrick. Upscale meets approachability – because ultimately, everyone deserves to feel like royalty.
A year ago, partners Keenan Hood and Cam Watt signed on to take over the basement space of the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, formerly occupied by the Prohibition bar. This February, they officially started work on the space with the help of award-winning Mexican designer, Héctor Esrawe.
Esrawe is transforming the 3,000 sq ft space into a low-key, speakeasy-feel space. In other words, expect low, sultry lighting, Art Deco detailing, and all the fancy vibes.
