Our heart belongs to the spookier season and our fellow freak geeks, but we believe in giving credit where credit is due. Despite wishing that pumpkin heads were the loudest and proudest holiday fans, we can’t deny that Santa Stans are far more enthusiastic. Some might say that it’s not a competition but – we disagree. Not only did we have to walk past a shelf of nutcrackers on our way to the skeletons in Walmart, Hallmark just announced its Christmas movie schedule in September and we can’t help but feel like this was a power move.
This year’s program features more films than ever before with 41 “totally original” movies starring channel favourites Candace Cameron Bure, Luke Macfarlane, and Lacey Chabert – who non-marathon fans might recognize as Gretchen Weiners from Mean Girls.
Combining both their Countdown to Christmas and their Miracles of Christmas lineup, 2021 is expected to be their biggest ever – so when does it all kick off?
Well, to the dismay of our ghoulish community – fans can jingle their bells as soon as October 22nd with the premiere of You, Me & The Christmas Trees – which we respectfully ask that you wait until at least November 1st to set up.
