Get ready to mark Friday, February 2nd on your calendar because the Big Ball is making its grand return to Calgary, promising an unforgettable evening dedicated to raising funds and awareness for men’s health.
The annual event will be hosted at Hotel Arts l, raising money for not one, but two great causes this year. And you won’t want to miss what they have planned for this year’s memorable evening of philanthropy!
Start off early 2024 right, sipping bubbly, dancing to live music, and devouring some seriously delicious food. This party with a cause is known for its memorable entertainment almost as much as it is for its philanthropic endeavours. Oh, and we heard there are some surprises in store for this year’s guests!
Make sure to keep an eye out for the returning Calvary Football Club at this year’s celebration. As proud supporters of the Big Ball, they’ll be retiring their green jerseys for the evening to host the event’s inaugural VIP Reception.
Taking the title of this year’s Big Ball Ambassador is Mark Tewksbury. Known as an Olympic Champion in swimming and a respected trailblazer for the LGBTQ+ community, Mark’s advocacy for utilizing sport for inclusion is renowned worldwide.
Thanks to Mark and his passions, a portion of the event’s proceeds go to the 2024 Special Olympic Games in Calgary. The remaining funds will play a crucial role in the establishment of the Kawakami Pre-habilitation Clinic. Once completed, the clinic will be a beacon of support for men and their families grappling with the mental and physical challenges associated with male-specific health issues
The best part? The ticket price includes all drinks, food and donations! So grab a friend, secure your tickets and kick-off the beginning of 2024 with a celebration for a great cause!
