Orcas Island has a winter artisans market this weekend & it’s full of handcrafted gifts

Are you craving a little island time this weekend? Head to Orcas Island because there you’ll find the annual Winter Artisans Market. It’s a chance to get outdoors, shop and have a fun journey while you’re at it.

The Winter Artisans Market takes place Friday, December 8th to Sunday, December 10th. It kicks off with a Night Market with dinner and drinks on the 8th and continues with two days of shopping.

You can expect to find fine crafts and fine art, luxurious woven goods and jewelry. There will also be fine furniture, glass works, ceramics, basketry, home goods, wreaths, ornaments, paintings, books, and photography.

That’s not all though, you’ll find a pop up bar, food and eats to take home. Plus you can purchase wine, cider, and spirits.

Now if you can’t get out to the island you can also purchase works through the online auction that runs until December 7th.
