This Toronto neighbourhood is hosting its first-ever food festival next month

A new festival is coming to the west end and you’ll want to bring your appetite. The first edition of Taste of the Junction is taking place in early September and it’ll showcase delicious food from local restaurants.

The highly-anticipated event will take place on McMurray Avenue and it’s “destined to be the highlight of the food lovers’ summer calendar,” says a press release from The Junction BIA.

Participating resto-bars will treat visitors to all kinds of culinary delights alongside a sidewalk sale and an “exceptional outdoor stage performance” by headliner Kiwi Jr.

Outdoor pop-up concerts have been taking place throughout the summer in the Junction, and this show will be the grand finale of the event series.
