Long Beach’s highlights included its 25 miles of beach and State Parks as well as “two historic lighthouses, cranberry bogs, and oyster farms.” It is also home The Washington State International Kite Festival which is the largest and longest running Kite Festival in North America.

Friday Harbor was recognized for its abundance of wildlife, beaches and of course the ferry ride you take to get there. It’s also close to world renowned whale watching destination, Lime Kiln.
