We hope you’ve been working on your swing Calgary, because Taiko Canteen is back in action after closing in January due to COVID restrictions.
A local spot beloved, not only for the food but for their 9-hole ‘lucky putt’ course, Taiko opened in August of 2019 after operating out of a food truck for years.
Since then, they’ve also partnered with Zilford’s Chicken to create a tasty menu of Bao Tacos, sandwiches, and cocktails – as well as an incredibly fun atmosphere where customers can come, grab a bite, and play a few rounds of mini-golf under neon lights 5-days a week.

“Lucky Putt, Zilford’s, and Taiko are Fired up & Ready to go!” they wrote on their Instagram. “Looking forward to seeing you back in our house.”
If you’d like to check it out, we’d recommend reserving a table on their website here, giving your arms a good stretch, and wearing comfortable shoes.
You don’t want to be stuck literally paying for your loss in the form of a Saturday night tab.
Happy putting!
